Day 01 : Arrive at Leh
Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day of
complete rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft /
35 00 mtrs). Overnight in hotel.
Day 02 :- Leh - Nubra Hunder Valley (4- 5 Hrs)
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt:
18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of
Sumoor area. proceed to Hunder Check-in at Hotel/Camp, freshen up & later
you can have a Double Hump Bactarian Camel ride. Dont forget to click this
unique mammal, found in cold Desert. It was once used to carry the trade
material on silk route. Overnight stay at Hunder/Nubra Camps/Hotel.
Day 03 : Hunder - Turtuk - Hunder (2 - 3 hrs)
After early Breakfast, move towards Highest Motorable Road of The World,
KhardungLa Pass. Have a cup of Tea there, get yourself clicked with the
Khardungla Signboard by BRO & proceed towards Turtuk- the Land of Baltis,
which was under control of Pakistan before 1971 War between the two nations.
You may like to visit 16 century Mosque and Minaret, Royal house of Yabgo
dynasty, Ruin palace of Pun Khar, Historic polo ground. Overnight stay at
Day 04 : Hunder - Nubra Valley - Pangong Lake
In the morning visit / explore Deskit, Hundar and the Sand Dunes where
you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel
found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive to Pangong Lake via
Shyok Village crossing Durbuk and Tangste finally reaching The beautiful
Pangong lake. After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at
fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to
Tangtse and check into Hotel / Guest House for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 : Pangong - Leh
Early Morning breakfast back to leh via crossing the Chang-la pass (alt:
17370 ft.) and Leh Sightseeing visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery & Stok
Palace Museum. Post lunch drive to visit Hall of Fame, Kali Mata (Temple of
Guardians in Spituk monastery), Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and
Day 06 :- Leh- Tsomoriri / Korzok (15070 ft. / 220 kms.)
Early departure for Tsomo-riri Lake (alt: 15,000 ft.) driving through
Chumathang (hot springs), Mahe and Puga Sumdo. Tsomoriri Lake (28 km long &
about 8 km wide) is the breeding ground of many migratory birds including
the rare bar-headed geese. Dinner & overnight in fixed camp or Guest House.
Day 07 :- Tsomoriri- Tsokar - Taglangla - Leh (17582 ft.)- Leh-approx 200
After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the
road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt
lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and
support many rare wild life species. After sightseeing of the area take the
Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la (alt: 17,585ft) en-
route. Overnight in hotel.
Day 08 : Leh- Lamayuru - Uleytoko
In the morning drive down the Indus Valley on a tour of the Lamayuru
(approx. 130 kms.) circuit, famous for the dramatically located Lamayuru
monastery and the adjoining 'Moonland' features. After sightseeing and lunch
here, retrace the Leh route till Uleytokpo (60 kms.) and check into a fixed
camp / resort for overnight stay.
Day 09 : Uleytoko - Leh
After breakfast drive towards Leh, enroute visiting the 11th century Alchi
Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh- a UNESCO listed
heritage site. Thereafter, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar
Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of
Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame. Evening visit to Shanti Stupa,
after sightseeing back to the Hotel.
Overnight in hotel.
Day 10 :- Departure Leh
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.
End of the trip and services.
